Joining the YMCA (Online Memberships)

Option 1
Evaluate whether or not you have ever: 1. Been a member of the Clallam County Family YMCA or 2. participated in a program at the Clallam County Family YMCA. If the answer to either of these questions is "yes" you can follow the instructions at the top of the page to log into your account (or create an online account for your existing unit. Once you have gained access to your account, click "My Account." If you are purchasing a Family 2-adult membership, you may add an adult and qualifying dependent children. Then you can choose "next" to select your membership type and finish with a credit card payment.

Option 2
If you answered "no" to both questions above, meaning you have never participated at the Clallam County Family YMCA, you may go directly to the membership page and click on the link of the membership you wish to purchase. This will allow you to add yourself to our system and will allow you to pay with a credit card online.

Online Registration FAQs

Q: How do online donations work?
A:
You can find a direct link on our home page or also on our ccfymca.org/donate.html page. This link will take you through the process and allow you to choose a giving opportunity (campaign), an amount and even a campaigner if you wish. You will receive a written confirmation and thank you for your pledge within 5-10 business days.

Q: Where do I find registration for events like, the Olympic Discovery Trail Challenge or A Taste of the Peninsula?
A:
Througout the year, the YMCA will do various events, some pertaining to fitness and others not. You can find these events in the registration process, under the tag called "Fitness Challenges" for those relating to exercise or under "Special Events" for other events. Unfortunately, we do not offer online registration for A Taste of the Peninsula.

Q: Can I register to become a member online?
A: Yes! It's a simple process. If you have participated at the Clallam County Family YMCA before, please go to the top of the page and log into your account. If you've never been a member or a participant, please go to the membership page, select your membership type and create a new unit.

Q: What happens once I pay and complete my membership join online?
A: We will create a packet just for you that includes a policy sheet to be signed in person, membership cards and various other information including offerings, fitness schedule, policies, etc. You will also receive a Welcome Letter in the mail within 5 business days of joining explaining the next step in the process (taking your picture, and claiming your welcome packet.)

Q: Since families receive discounts for martial arts programs, will I receive my additional participant discounts if I register online?
A: You may still register your family online, but we will have to adjust your fees here at the YMCA, which would include generating a refund for your first payment. We recommend getting a system credit to be used at a later date.

Q: I am a member. Will I still get my membership discount on programs I register for online?
A: Yes!  Our system recognizes the difference between members and non-members so you will pay the member rate online as well.

Q: Will my financial assistance apply to programs I register for?
A: Unfortunately, financial assistance discounts must be calculated manually and cannot be applied to your balance automatically.  If you would like to register for a program that has a deposit, however, you may do so but be sure you call the Y and ask us to adjust your total remaining balance. Remember financial assistance rates are always taken off the non-member rate.

Q: Are all YMCA programs available for online registration?
A: We are limited to what programs we can offer online because the nature of certain programs, such as Day Camp, require that we obtain more information from the participant than can be acquired through online registration.

Q: I have registered for a program with a deposit.  When do I have to pay the remaining balance?
A: All camps requiring a deposit up front must be paid in full two weeks before camp begins.

Q: What happens once I pay and complete my program registration online?
A: An email will be sent to the director of the program you are registering for confirming your enrollment. Be sure to print any information pertaining to your program that displays on the screen when you complete registration. If applicable, our Everything You Need to Know sheet will be the last thing you see on your screen.
